Mountain Lion Headstudy
Known by many names, including puma, cougar, and catamount - the mountain lion was once endangered. With hunting regulated, it has recovered across much of its natural range, although the Florida panther subspecies is still threatened. Their facial markings are some of the most beautiful and dramatic in the big cats - in my opinion.
